Digital x-rays provide for high quality, fast x-rays with minimal exposure.

Adavantages of digital x-ray include...

Images instantly appear on the doctor's monitor.  This allows the doctor to quickly assess which x-rays are necessary and which are not.  This result is less x-ray exposure for the patient.

Digital enhancement.  Image quality can be digitally improved, contrast and brightness changes can help reveal the smallest defects and images can be "zoomed" in for a close up look.

Digital records.  All images can be placed on a CD for the patient to keep or to transfer to another facility.
